Take Me Home Pet Rescue, Inc. is a pet rescue group that was started by Richardson residents and is located in the Richardson area. Since the inception of TMHPR early this year, fifty-four cats and kittens and nine dogs from local shelters or other unfortunate situations have been rescued. These pets are then spayed and neutered as well as provided with medical care for heart worm and other common illnesses such as parasites and upper respiratory infections. Once healthy, these pets are then paired with loving forever families.

Donations are always needed as monthly expenses run from about $1,000 to $1,600.00. As the group grows and more foster animals are added to the program, this figure is expected to climb. Funds are spent on cat litter, food and veterinary services including sterilization surgeries and medications. TMHPR is also looking for volunteers to help foster the pets while they are waiting for their new homes.

Vision Bank of Texas, a local bank in Richardson, has very generously offered to host this next fundraiser. The Local Artist Reception is scheduled for Friday, September 12th, from 4PM-7PM. Complimentary hor devours will be served and beer and wine will sell for $3.00.

There will be at least nine artists participating in this event and several are from Richardson. All artists will be donating a portion of their sales to TMHPR. Some of the participants Include:
