Richardson League of Women Voters Updates Voter's Guide for Upcoming Election  

The League of Women Voters of Richardson website, www.lwvrichardson.org, has been updated with the Voters Guides covering all races on the ballot for the upcoming General Election on November 4. Interested voters can now download and print the latest version. Preprinted copies of the state Voters Guide, containing federal and statewide races, are available at the Richardson Library.

Early voting for the November 4 general election begins October 20. For a sample ballot, to confirm your voter registration, to find your precinct number, early voting locations, and Election Day polling place, go to www.dalcoelections.org (Dallas County) and www.co.collin.tx.us/elections/electioninformation (Collin County). Richardson residents, living in Dallas County, may vote early at the Richardson Civic Center/City Hall, 411 W. Arapaho Rd., Richardson, Texas as well as other designated locations. Richardson residents, living in Collin County, may vote early at the Harrington Library, 1501 18th St., Plano or other designated locations. Dates and times for early voting at these Dallas County and Collin County locations are as follows:

Monday, October 20 through Friday, October 24 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday, October 25 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Sunday, October 26 from 1-6 p.m.
Monday, October 27 through Friday, October 31 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

On Election Day itself (November 4th), regular polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to
7 p.m. The Richardson Civic Center/City Hall Complex is NOT a voting place on Election Day. It is used only for early voting.

Identification and/or a voter registration card will be required for voting.

Other information on the website is a calendar of upcoming events, information about upcoming elections, candidate forums, programs, and general information for voters. You can also find information about the League including forms for donating and/or joining.
