Classic Cars invade East Richardson

(November 3 - Richardson, Texas) On a recent sunny weekend afternoon the Richardson FallFest Classic Car and Truck show got underway. The event took place at the parking lot of the newly renovated LA Fitness Center parking lot at the corner of Belt Line and Plano.

According to Christy Fitts of carsroadshow.com, the group that ran the event, there were 54 cars entered and more on hand for car enthusiasts.

"I think the oldest is probably a 1927 T-Bucket and the newest is a 2007 Ford Boss Mustang GT," she said.

According to Ms Fritts they do 68 car shows a year and are getting "bigger and bigger." They are the official car show of KLUV radio.

In addition to classic cars, visitors were asked to bring cans of food for the Network of Community Ministries.

Participants voted on their favorites in 24 categories.
