It's great to see another source for Richardson news! As everyone in Richardson knows, the Dallas Morning News ignores our city. So, I enjoyed reading your story about the Ashley Place Apartments, and thought it was valuable information about our city. (Two followup questions about that story: Is the March 26 hearing open to the public? Where and when is that hearing?)

As a former newspaperman, I'm glad to see the Richardson Echo helping to fill the void in reporting the news about our city.

The public hearing is at City Hall (at 411 W Arapaho Rd) at 6:30 PM on March 26, 2008. It is open to the public and its called a "Public Hearing" but I do not know to what extent public testimony is taken.
