When it comes to speech, the Richardson ISD wants to be ordinarily stupid.

It is May, and it is time for the annual ritual of high school seniors graduating and moving on to another phase in their lives. Part of this ritual is speeches given by top graduates. However, we won't be hearing from top graduates this year.

The Richardson Independent School District
congratulates its 2022 graduates.

According to the Lake Highlands Advocate, the Richardson Independent School District has moved to pre-record the student speeches. When it comes to free speech, this puts the Richardson ISD administration among the ranks of the stupid.

Richardson's Ten Best Planning Decisions:
9 - Development by Neighborhoods

Like many suburbs, a large amount of its land area is devoted to residential housing. The manner in which Richardson expanded is more of a strength than not despite that expansion being unremarkable to a casual observer.

RISD May 2022 Election Predictions

RISD Single District Map

I am going to make election predictions. Tonight, not long after posting this, election results for the May 2022 Richardson ISD Board of Trustee elections will roll in. Everyone asks me, "You know Richardson. Who do you think will win?" Everybody does something dumb in their lives. Now it is my turn.

I am putting this on record just as an experiment - partly amusing, partly serious - so I can be held accountable and hopefully gain bragging rights.

Plano, Zoning and You --- tube.

The City of Plano recently produced a Facebook post with an accompanying YouTube Video describing Zoning. Not Plano's zoning per say even though Plano is mentioned throughout but Zoning... just Zoning.

There is a lot of subtext in this video and its message. There is also a lot missing.
